Leather, heavy elastic cording, waxed cotton and polyester cords, hemp, satin cord, and nylon braided cord are all great options for large hole beads. If you must use a smaller diameter cording for your project, consider placing a small bead on either side of the large hole bead to make it lay nicely on the string.
