While we don't usually recommend that you sleep in earrings, Huggies are probably one of the safest earrings if you do leave them in. As they are small and are close to the skin, they are unlikely to get tangled in hair, clothing or bedding. This reduces the risk of damaging your surroundings or your body.

As the huggie can be quite small, in comparison to other earring types, you may have to secure it close to your ear, then twist the earring to place it in the correct location.

While most hoop earrings are a perfect round, modern iterations also include oval and geometric shapes. They come in a variety of sizes ranging from medium to giant ones. Huggie earrings on the other hand are on the smaller side. They are designed to 'hug' your lobes and do not extend in diameter beyond that.
