Self aligning roller bearings are suitable for heavy loads and medium speeds, while self aligning ball bearings are suitable for light loads and high speeds; 4. Rotation accuracy; P0 and P6 accuracy are selected for medium and low speeds, while P5, P4 or higher accuracy is selected for high speeds.

As mentioned above, ball bearings are ideal for higher speeds and lighter loads, whereas roller bearings are better suited for heavier loads and shocks.

Measuring your bearing: Most bearings are measured in three ways, the inside diameter or (ID), the outside diameter or (OD) and the width or (W). It is important to note that our bearing measurements are all done in the following order: Inside diameter (ID) x Outside diameter (OD) x Width (W).
