Carbide V Bit 60º (1/8 Shank) Inventables V cut shapes with your CNC or hand router. V-bits are great for carving very intricate, detailed designs. When used in conjunction with v-carving software, they add depth and dimension that can't be achieved with a flat bit.

While there are certainly more options, I will be focusing on the 30°, 45°, 60°, 90° and 140° degree v-bits in this article. I created a sign, shown above, using each of the different bits to illustrate the difference in each tool.
